Murat Yavuz began his career as an Advertising Executive for DemirDokum, the legendary HVAC brand, at Koc Group, Turkey's largest holding company. He then moved to the agency side, started working as an Account Executive at esteemed agencies such as Ajans Ultra and Cenajans. During his time at Cenajans, Murat led crucial clients and projects, earning prestigious international accolades, including the first Epica Award for the country.
In 2001, Murat played an integral part in establishing Grey Turkey, now known as 4129Grey, one of the top 5 agencies in Turkey. As Director, he oversaw Client Relations, Strategy, and Business Development, contributing to the agency's success. Following Grey's acquisition by the WPP Group, Murat joined Ogilvy before returning to Grey to establish the second agency of the branded house, Gram. Capitalizing on his experience, Murat seized the opportunity to expand the MENA region by establishing the global agency Dentsu in Turkey.
In 2016, Murat took on the role of CMO at Fakeeh Care, the largest healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia. During his tenure, he spearheaded the corporatization of the group, transforming it into an integral group of healthcare companies with a strong corporate identity.
He also ventured into the film production industry as a Producer, focusing on cross-cultural movies and animation series. His debut art-house film, "In The Shadows," shot in Georgia, has garnered significant recognition and awards at prestigious film festivals.
In 2018, Murat made an interesting move to Tehran / Iran to establish the presence of FCB as the first and only international agency in the Iranian market. Given his exceptional skills and leadership, he was subsequently tasked with launching the agency's newest office in Iraq, overseeing both countries as the MD.
Throughout his career, Murat has had the privilege of working with major brands, including Nokia, BAT, Toyota, Panasonic, BP, Gillette, Citroen, Good-Year, TuvTurk, and Moneygram. His extensive experience spans diverse industries such as automotive, FMCG, banking, real estate, healthcare, GSM, and institutional corporations.
Added to his degrees from Marmara and Istanbul Universities, he was involved in academia, delivering lectures at multiple universities and serving as a keynote speaker at various industry events.
Following the global pandemic, Murat made the decision to return to Turkey and prioritize his family responsibilities while continuing to seek a Management, Advertising, and Marketing position that aligns with his qualifications and expertise.
